6 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval (knee) was lifted late in Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to knee inflammation. He was unable to swing right-handed in the game, so manager Bruce Bochy sent Evan Longoria to the dish in a pinch-hitting situation and he ended up going 1-for-2 with a double and three RBI in the 3-2 victory. Panda was hitless in two at-bats before departing in the sixth inning, and he is a question mark heading into Tuesday's battle.--Daniel Dobish
