5 years agoThe Green Bay Packers Defense will face off against Christian McCaffrey and the Carolina Panthers offense. It's not a great matchup for Green Bay, as the Panthers have scored at least 27 points in five of their eight games this year. Panthers rookie quarterback Kyle Allen has only thrown four interceptions, three of them against the 49ers' number-one pass defense. In leagues that penalize for points allowed, the Packers are probably best avoided. They could pick up several sacks against a Panthers offensive line that ranks 23rd in sacks allowed. Still, the Packers defense is just a middling-option this week.--Tim Capurso
