Packers Expected To Keep Mason Crosby
3 years agoIt appears that the Green Bay Packers will keep kicker Mason Crosby in 2022. Crosby is scheduled to make $3.4 million with a salary cap charge of $4.735 million in 2022, and there has been no change in his status or contract, according to a source. The 37-year-old veteran had a rough 2021 season in Green Bay, making only 73.5% of his 34 field-goal attempts over 17 regular season games. He was only able to make nine of his 13 tries from 30-39 yards, and the Packers also have kickers J.J. Molson and Dominik Eberle waiting in the wings if Crosby struggles again in 2022. Crosby could have some streaming fantasy appeal if he can turn things around, but he's on the hot seat in Green Bay.
