3 years agoIt appears that the Green Bay Packers will keep kicker Mason Crosby in 2022. Crosby is scheduled to make $3.4 million with a salary cap charge of $4.735 million in 2022, and there has been no change in his status or contract, according to a source. The 37-year-old veteran had a rough 2021 season in Green Bay, making only 73.5% of his 34 field-goal attempts over 17 regular season games. He was only able to make nine of his 13 tries from 30-39 yards, and the Packers also have kickers J.J. Molson and Dominik Eberle waiting in the wings if Crosby struggles again in 2022.
