3 years agoThe Green Bay Packers are hosting free-agent wide receiver Sammy Watkins on a visit on Thursday, according to sources. The Packers are still very much in the market for more receiving help after trading Davante Adams, arguably the best receiver in the league, to the Las Vegas Raiders earlier in the offseason. As of right now, Allen Lazard and veteran Randall Cobb are quarterback Aaron Rodgers' top two targets in the passing game. Watkins is still only 28 years old, but he's done very little in terms of fantasy production since his first three seasons with the Buffalo Bills in 2014-16. In 13 games (nine starts) for the Baltimore Ravens last year, Watkins had 27 receptions for 394 yards and one touchdown on 49 targets. He'd have more appeal in Green Bay, but he wouldn't be a guarantee for solid weekly production.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
