Padres-Nationals To Resume Sunday After Shooting Incident

3 years agoSaturday night's game between the San Diego Padres and Washington Nationals was suspended due to a shooting outside of the ballpark. The Friars were up 8-4 in the bottom of the 6th when shots rang along the third-base side of Nationals Park. Chaos ensued with fans rushing the field and players retreating into the clubhouse. Four people were wounded but fans were ushered out safely after the situation was deemed contained. The game will resume at 1:05 p.m. ET on Sunday with the regularly scheduled game to follow thereafter as a nine-inning contest. Obviously, real life takes precedence in scary situations like this so any fantasy impact is irrelevant.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
