2 years agoAccording to a tweet from ESPN's Jeff Passan, the San Diego Padres have reportedly acquired relief pitcher Josh Hader from the Milwaukee Brewers for left-handed reliever Taylor Rogers, right-hander Dinelson Lamet, pitching prospect Robert Gasser, and outfield prospect Esteury Ruiz. Hader has thrown 34 innings for the Brewers this season, pitching to a 4.24 ERA and a 3.47 FIP while registering 59 strikeouts and 12 walks. He's also converted 29 of 31 saves so far. The 28-year-old should continue to be one of fantasy baseball's best closers with the Padres.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
