According to Buster Olney of ESPN, the Padres are involved in conversations about Cubs catcher Willson Contreras. He recently removed everything Cubs-related from his Instagram account. The 30-year-old is one of the best hitting catchers in the game and should produce for a solid Padres lineup that is expected to have star shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (wrist) back soon.
