Panthers Agree With Third-Rounder Matt Corral
2 years agoThe Carolina Panthers agreed to terms with third-round quarterback Matt Corral on his four-year rookie contract on Monday, according to a source. The former Ole Miss quarterback was one of the few remaining unsigned picks league-wide, but he'll be ready to report to training camp on Monday afternoon now. After the Panthers traded for Baker Mayfield, Corral will enter camp as the No. 3 signal-caller behind Mayfield and Sam Darnold, and there's a good chance he'll sit on the sidelines and learn his entire rookie season in 2022. As such, the 23-year-old will only be an option in dynasty/keeper drafts this fall.
