7 years agoThe Carolina Panthers are expected to interview Norv Turner for their offensive coordinator position, and he is believed to be a top candidate for the position, according to sources. Turner is a good friend of head coach Ron Rivera's from their time coaching together for the San Diego Chargers. Turner has his fair share of experiencing guiding high-flying offenses, but on the surface he wouldn't seem to be a good fit with a running quarterback like Cam Newton. The Panthers would also need to upgrade their current pass-catching corps to give Turner more reliable deep threats, although receivers Kaelin Clay and Curtis Samuel could eventually become excellent field stretchers because of their speed.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
