3 years agoThe Carolina Panthers signed kicker Lirim Hajrullahu off the Washington Football Team's practice squad on Wednesday. Hajrullahu will take over the kicking duties in Carolina after the team placed starter Zane Gonzalez (quadriceps) on Injured Reserve. Gonzalez strained his quad while warming up before the Week 15 game against the Buffalo Bills and will now miss the rest of the season. Hajrullahu made his NFL debut with the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10 and made all five of his extra points. He didn't see a single field-goal attempt in the win over the Atlanta Falcons. On a Panthers team that has struggled to move the ball consistently with Cam Newton taking over at quarterback, Hajrullahu will not be on the fantasy map in Week 16 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
