2 years agoThe Carolina Panthers are signing free-agent kicker Eddy Pineiro to a one-year deal on Wednesday. The Panthers recently placed their starting kicker Zane Gonzalez on season-ending Injured Reserve, creating a need at the position. The Florida product remained unsigned during the 2020 season before joining the Jets for five games last year. The 26-year-old made all eight field goals he attempted and missed only one extra point in 10 attempts.
