Parris Campbell Avoids Torn ACL, To Have MRI Tomorrow
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell (knee) did not tear his ACL in his team's Week 2 win over the Vikings. Campbell suffered a knee injury on a carry in the first quarter and was carted off the field. The team believes it's not a torn ACL, but Campbell will have an MRI on Monday to determine the full extent of the injury. The speedy playmaker had gotten off to a promising start in Week 1 with 71 receiving yards, so at least there's some hope that his season isn't lost. If Campbell is forced to miss time, fellow receivers T.Y. Hilton, Zach Pascal and Michael Pittman Jr. (toe) would see a boost in targets.
