Parris Campbell Could Become A Primary Target
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell enters his third season with quite a bit to prove after injuries have derailed the start to his NFL career. After suffering MCL and PCL tears in his right knee after just two games in 2020, Campbell told reporters that he has "no issues with the knee, so I feel good." This is an encouraging statement from one of the most athletic slot receivers who has yet to get a real opportunity to demonstrate the flashy skillset and speed he used as a standout wide receiver at Ohio State. Quarterback Carson Wentz has targeted slot receivers on 30.6% of his throws across the last four seasons, making Campbell that much more enticing to draft as the WR69 in half-PPR formats.
