Pat Freiermuth Could Be Even Better In 2022
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth finished with 60 catches and seven touchdowns on only 79 targets in his rookie season while playing 62% of the offensive snaps in a sometimes limited offense. With Eric Ebron gone and the Steelers expected to attack the middle of the field more with quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, Freiermuth's numbers could skyrocket in his sophomore season. Zach Gentry has also become a solid complementary piece with a penchant for blocking, and Connor Heyward could be a versatile depth weapon because of his athletic abilities. Freiermuth could return excellent value this year, as he's being drafted as a low-end TE1, at best.
