6 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Patrick Corbin got the win Wednesday night with eight brilliant innings of work against the New York Mets. Corbin allowed just one run on four hits, with 11 strikeouts against a single walk, as he threw 72 of his 108 pitches for strikes. Washington won 5-1 to improve Corbin to 4-1 and the club to 17-25. Corbin has now made two dominant starts after struggling in the previous two and appears back to the ace he can be. Corbin will face the Mets again in his next start, but at New York, where he will continue to be a must-start fantasy option.--Nathaniel Green
