Patrick Corbin Gets Back On Track Against Phillies
5 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Patrick Corbin pitched seven innings of one-run ball Wednesday afternoon in a 6-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies. Corbin, who entered the game with an 11.37 ERA in his past three starts, allowed a solo home run to Scott Kingery in the first inning, but settled down from then on. Corbin allowed four hits and walked three while striking out eight in the outing, which dropped his ERA from 4.11 to 3.90 and improved his record to 6-5. His next start will likely come against the Miami Marlins, where he is an easy start in fantasy.
