Patrick Corbin Gives Up Four Runs Friday
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Patrick Corbin took the loss against the Baltimore Orioles Friday after allowing five runs (four earned) on five hits and a walk in 5 1/3 innings. He struck out four batters. He now has a 6-9 record on the season, which isn't very nice. Neither is his 5.71 ERA or 1.45 WHIP. As tough a year as Corbin has had, he's been even worse in July with a 7.17 ERA and just one quality start in four trips to the mound. Fantasy managers who have waited this long with Corbin on their rosters may have no choice but to hold on and hope for a turnaround.
