7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starter Patrick Corbin was masterful on Wednesday, shutting out the Dodgers over seven innings while giving up just one hit, one walk and striking out 12 batters. Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp was the only player who could touch Corbin, walking and hitting a double. Corbin's ERA is now at 1.38 and he's looked great this season, as he's decided to feature his excellent slider more prominently. As long as he keeps throwing the slider, Corbin can replicate the numbers he had in his 2015 All-Star season.
