4 years agoWashington Nationals left-handed pitcher Patrick Corbin struck out eight batters last Tuesday when he faced the Mets. Now, he gets set to make his next start, which also comes against the Mets, albeit this time at Citi Field. Corbin’s ERA last season away from Nationals Park jumped up to 4.18, as opposed to 2.40 at home, with his time against the Mets going particularly poorly with seven home runs allowed in just 17 innings. The key to his start will be his slider, which has limited opposing batters to a .118 batting average thus far in 2020 and has a 52.6% Whiff rate. His DFS price tag will be sky high, but with his recent propensity at allowing the long ball in Queens, owners may opt to look elsewhere on the slate.--Jesse Borek
