3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Patrick Corbin posted his second straight outing with seven strikeouts on Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk over six innings in a 5-2 win over the Mets. Sunday's start improved Corbin to 5-5 on the year, as he now owns a 5.40 ERA with 62 strikeouts in 76 2/3 innings of work. That was largely due to a poor start to the year, but he's looked better in June as he's now 2-1 with a 3.65 ERA and 21 strikeouts over 24 2/3 innings across his last four starts. He looks to be a potential streaming option going forward, and he'll have a nice matchup in his next start against the Marlins.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
