Patrick Kane Scores Shootout Winner For Blackhawks
5 years agoThe Chicago Blackhawks defeated the struggling Arizona Coyotes in the shootout on Saturday night. The final score was 3-2. Patrick Kane scored the shootout winner and also assisted on both goals in regulation time. There aren’t many players performing better right now than the veteran forward, who has 20 points over his last 13 games. He now has 65 total points in 52 games and a shot at a second straight 100-point season. Brandon Saad scored two goals for Chicago. He has seven goals over his past eight games. Overall, he has 15 goals and 23 points in 40 games. Veteran goalie Corey Crawford stopped 40 of 42 shots and has won his past three starts. The Blackhawks are 6-0-1 over the last seven games. For the Coyotes, goalie Antti Raanta stopped 42 of 44 shots despite taking the loss. He was coming off three poor performances.
