3 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes put together another shaky performance in a Week 8 victory against the New York Giants. Completing just 29 of his 48 pass attempts, Mahomes threw one touchdown with one interception and a fumble for 275 yards. He also rushed the ball twice for 11 yards. The former MVP of the league has really struggled with turnovers this year and has been a major disappointment to managers that invested heavily in him. For the season, Mahomes has thrown for 2368 yards with 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Heading into Week 9, managers should still feel confident with Mahomes, but also shouldn't expect the lights out numbers that he has provided in prior years. The Chiefs will face the Packers in Week 9 and that matchup has the potential to be a high-scoring affair. Despite the turnovers, Mahomes should still be considered a QB1 in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
