3 years agoKansas City Chiefs starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes had a short night in Saturday's first preseason game versus the San Francisco 49ers. Mahomes only played one series and went 1-for-2 for four yards. It's not a surprise that Mahomes barely saw any action and managers should have no concern about him leading one of the best offenses in the league this season. Mahomes had toe surgery in the offseason, but appears to be fully recovered. Mahomes threw for 4740 yards in 2020 with 38 touchdowns and six interceptions in 15 regular season games. He also rushed the ball 62 times for 308 yards and two touchdowns. Mahomes remains at the top of the class for quarterbacks in the upcoming season.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
