4 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is coming off of his second game with five touchdowns this season and will look to continue his strong season against the Carolina Panthers in a Week 9 matchup. The Panthers Defense has respectively held Tom Brady to 217 passing yards and Kyler Murray to 133 earlier this season, but managers should still be confident in Mahomes and he should never be benched. The Panthers defensive unit has gotten stronger as the season has gone on and has only allowed two pass plays over 40 yards, both which came in the first two weeks of the season. Despite all of this, Patrick Mahomes is in a class of his own and managers should feel confident rolling with the MVP as a QB1 on a weekly basis.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
