Patrick Mahomes Sustained Minor Wrist Injury In Week 1

2 years agoKansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered an apparent wrist injury after falling on it during the team's Week 1 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Head coach Andy Reid said that tests would be done, but Mahomes himself said that the injury occurred after his first of five touchdown passes, so it didn't seem to hold him back in the slightest. He also added that the wrist is sore but that "everything looked good" on initial X-rays. On a short week before facing the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night, the Chiefs could take extra precautions with Mahomes in practice, but all signs point to the former MVP suiting up for Week 2.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
