4 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was held in check by the Patriots for most of Monday’s contest, but came alive late in the game. Mahomes tossed a short pass to wide receiver Tyreek Hill for a touchdown late in the third quarter and connected with wide receiver Mecole Hardman for a short touchdown in the fourth quarter. Mahomes finished the game 19-for-29 with 236 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Patriots did a very good job against the MVP and things should get easier in a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5.
