2 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) tweaked his ankle during the last play of the 11-on-11 portion of training camp practice on Monday. He hobbled to the sideline and was helped to the white medical tent by a trainer. Mahomes emerged from the tent shortly after with a re-taped ankle and went back to the sidelines with his helmet. "Yeah, he got stepped on," head coach Andy Reid said. "He's OK. He's alright. An offensive lineman got pushed back into him." Mahomes took part in individual QB drills before practice ended, and it's likely that he'll return to practice on Tuesday with his left ankle taped up. The 26-year-old star signal-caller should be fine moving forward. Although he lost All-Pro receiver Tyreek Hill in the offseason, Mahomes remains an elite QB1 target in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
