Patrick Mahomes - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has struggled this year and he will look for improved results versus the Green Bay Packers in Week 9. Mahomes has thrown for 2368 yards with 19 touchdowns, but he has thrown 10 interceptions. The interceptions have been a huge problem for the signal-caller with him throwing at least one in every game other than in Week 1 versus the Cleveland Browns. The Packers defense has nine interceptions on the season and have recorded a minimum of one interception in every week since Week 1 versus the New Orleans Saints. The Chiefs haven't looked like themselves this season and even with Mahomes having an off year by his standards, managers should still have confidence that he could provide valuable numbers against a Packers defense that is allowing 235 yards per game through the year and just under two touchdowns. Despite his recent struggles, Mahomes should still be considered a QB1 with upside on Sunday.
