3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder Patrick Wisdom continued his impressive season with his ninth home run in Monday's loss versus the New York Mets. Wisdom was the backend of back-to-back home runs with Anthony Rizzo in the top of the seventh inning and would finish the evening 1-for-2 with a walk. Wisdom has been incredible since being promoted on May 25 and he is now hitting .333 with nine home runs, 13 RBI and a stolen base in 54 at-bats. He will eventually slow down, but managers should be enjoying their waiver wire pickup while he remains hot.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
