2 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Patrick Wisdom was forced from Saturday's second game of a doubleheader with an ankle injury after his at-bat in the seventh inning. He fouled a ball of his ankle in the first game of the twin bill, but stayed in the lineup for the remainder of the day until favoring his ankle on a foul ball in his final at-bat. X-rays have come up negative, so he should be considered day-to-day until we hear more from the club on Sunday. Wisdom is hitting .226 with five homers and 15 RBI on the year and should continue to provide solid fantasy production in 2022 if this injury remains minor.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
