Patrick Wisdom Sustains Finger Injury On Saturday
2 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Patrick Wisdom (finger) hurt his left ring finger when sliding into home during Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. In Saturday's win, he went 1-for-4 with an RBI double, a walk, and one run before injuring his finger in the bottom of the 11th inning. The 30-year-old sustained the finger at the end of the game. He will undergo x-rays after the game to determine the severity of his injury. The Cubs slugger is slashing .219/.314/.444 with 22 home runs, 58 RBI, 59 runs, and seven stolen bases in 114 games in 2022. If Wisdom is forced to miss any time, PJ Higgins and Zack McKinstry would see an uptick in at-bats.
