Patrik Laine Enjoys Two Games In Homeland
6 years agoWinnipeg Jets right wing Patrik Laine scored a goal with a team-high six shots on net in Friday's 4-2 setback against the Florida Panthers in Finland. He wraps up the two-game back-to-back set in his native country with four goals and 13 shots, including the game-winning tally on Friday. He and his teammates will travel back to Canada and have a full week off before resuming in a potential shootout next Friday against the high-octane Colorado Avalanche. A trip to his homeland helped Laine immensely, as he entered on a five-game scoreless drought.
