4 years agoWinnipeg Jets forward Patrik Laine could be traded this offseason as the team attempts to reshape their roster with an outlook on the future, according to Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff. "So we're looking at all our options, including potentially trading different players," Cheveldayoff said on Friday. Laine, selected second overall by the Jets in the 2016 NHL Draft, is coming off a 63-point output in 68 games during the shortened regular season. The 22-year-old Finnish forward has one year left on his current two-year, $13.5 million contract that he signed prior to the 2019-20 season. Laine's situation will be worth monitoring for fantasy purposes depending on how the remainder of the offseason develops over the coming months.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
