4 years agoThe New England Patriots are slated to make their return to the field Sunday against Denver, but the first step in that process is getting back to the team’s facility, which is expected to happen Wednesday. But despite their presence there, New England isn’t slated to practice, with that first time back out penciled in for Thursday. Ultimately, it appears as if the Patriots will have something of a short practice week ahead of their matchup versus the Broncos, which throws the effectiveness of top fantasy options such as Cam Newton into flux. That the team is set to regroup is a safe indication that the COVID-19 outbreak is behind the wide group, a positive for the likelihood of Sunday’s game taking place after postponements.--Jesse Borek
