3 years agoThe New England Patriots re-signed nose tackle Carl Davis to an undisclosed deal on Wednesday. Davis will return for a third season in New England after recording 19 tackles (12 solo) and one sack in 17 games (four starts) for the Patriots last year. The 30-year-old will return to compete for a rotational role on the defensive line this summer. In his six NFL seasons with the Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars, Davis has 54 tackles (32 solo), four tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and three passes defensed in 56 games (17 starts). The 30-year-old veteran was originally a third-round selection by the Ravens in 2015 out of Iowa.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
