Patriots See "Dramatic" Improvement From Mac Jones
2 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones has seen "dramatic" improvements heading into his sophomore season, according to head coach Bill Belichick. Jones has focused on his diet and body, as his "offseason work has been significant," said Belichick. The former Alabama collegiate star will be supported by a pass-catching group that consists of wide receivers DeVante Parker, Jakobi Meyers, and Kendrick Bourne, as well as tight ends Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith. Jones doesn't have the rushing upside of some of the other second-year quarterbacks, but he still figures to find himself as a solid QB2 option for fantasy managers with a chance at QB1 production. The 23-year-old is worth a pick near the end of fantasy drafts in conventional formats.
