7 years agoThe New England Patriots signed free-agent running back Jeremy Hill on Friday, according to a source. Hill had a promising rookie year with the Bengals, putting up 1,124 yards on the ground and nine touchdowns, but aside from his career-high 11 scores in 2015, he averaged less than 4.0 yards per carry in his last three years. He's still young, but he'll face plenty of competition for touches in New England with Rex Burkhead, James White and Mike Gillislee. The best hope is that Hill becomes a short-yardage/goal-line back with the Pats, but fantasy owners aren't holding their breath.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
