4 years agoThe New England Patriots waited until after the 2020 NFL Draft to pick up another quarterback. The Pats have signed undrafted Michigan State quarterback Brian Lewerke. His senior season who threw for 3,079 passing yards with 17 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He was a three year starter at Michigan State, but is a developmental project for New England. The Pats also brought in undrafted Louisiana Tech quarterback J'mar Smith as depth. However,  Jarrett Stidham and veteran Brian Hoyer are expected to be above both of them on the depth chart. It sounds like Lewerke and Smith will be competing for a spot on the team in training camp.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
