6 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Paul Blackburn picked up a win in his season debut against the Royals on Thursday. Blackburn allowed one run on three hits and no walks with three strikeouts in six innings. The 24-year-old missed 10 weeks on the disabled list with a right forearm strain but had a respectable 3.22 ERA with 22 strikeouts and 16 walks in 58 2/3 innings with the A's in 2017. Blackburn's next start has not been scheduled, but fantasy players should wait to see the matchup before adding him, except in deeper leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
