3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Paul Blackburn allowed four runs - three earned - across four innings to take the loss on Tuesday versus Seattle. Blackburn entered the rotation after Chris Bassitt (face) landed on the injured list, and has not been effective as a starter as the A's continue to plummet down the standings. Blackburn has not pitched past the fifth inning in any of his seven starts and is sporting a grotesque 5.17 ERA on the season.
