6 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Paul Blackburn (forearm) will pitch for High-A Stockton on Thursday, according to Julian McWilliams of The Athletic. Blackburn sustained the injury during spring training and has been working his way back ever since. He was 3-1 with 3.22 ERA in 10 starts in 2017 and could become an option in deeper mixed leagues when he returns. With a career 56.3 percent ground-ball rate, Blackburn isn't a guy that will get a ton of strikeouts.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
