4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong reached based three times in Wednesday's loss to the Washington Nationals. DeJong went 2-for-3 with two singles and a walk in the 1-0 defeat. DeJong is off to a fairly typical streaky start, hitting just .200 but with a .774 OPS. He's never been strong in the batting average department, but he's a solid producer in the run producing categories. If he continues hitting in the cleanup spot, he should be a strong shortstop option in most formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
