4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong and catcher Yadier Molina have both been given the green light to resume participation in club activities after having tested positive for COVID-19. The earliest date in which either would be activated and brought up to the big league roster would be Thursday, although that’s no certainty. DeJong has opened the year 4-for-17 with seven strikeouts, while Molina is 4-for-18 without an extra-base hit. Still, both would be major additions to the Cardinals’ lineup for this weekend’s series against Cincinnati and moving forward. Check back to receiver updates on when DeJong or Molina could return to the field.--Jesse Borek
