Paul Goldschmidt Homers Against D-Backs Friday
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt combined with Nolan Arenado to provide nearly all the offense in Friday's 5-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Goldschmidt went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored. Goldschmidt has hit safely in eight of his last nine games with three consecutive multi-hit performances. He has an argument to be one of the very best fantasy values of the season with his 1.056 OPS, 30 homers, 84 runs scored, 96 RBI and five stolen bases in 479 plate appearances.
