3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt hit a two-run home run in Monday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. It was the only hit of the day for "Goldy", leaving him 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored, and two RBI. He has his batting average up to .286 and his OPS up to .833. While he may have gotten off to an overall slow start this season, he's starting to look more and more like the Paul Goldschmidt that everyone is used to and that the Cardinals were hoping for. He's a worthwhile starter in all fantasy formats and has been remarkably consistent in the second half of the season.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
