Paul Goldschmidt Looking For First Home Run
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is still searching for his first home run of the season heading into Thursday's matchup against Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Brandon Woodruff. Through the first four games, Goldy is 3-for-13 with no RBI, five runs scored, one stolen base, five walks and four strikeouts. Four of his five walks and two of his runs came in the Opening Day win over the Pittsburgh Pirates a week ago. The 34-year-old is known more for his prodigious power, but he also walks at a high clip and should soon begin providing plenty of home run pop for his fantasy managers at the top of the Cardinals batting order.
