6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt (rest) will not play on Monday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. With the Diamondbacks pretty much out of a playoff spot, it doesn't play them any good to start their star first baseman and risk injury, however, he will most likely finish the season without rest. He should still be kept in your lineups for a pinch-hit opportunity, however, should be benched if there are no available spots.--Caden Inaba
