Paxton Lynch Works Out For Redskins
6 years agoFree-agent quarterback Paxton Lynch, along with wide receiver Breshad Perriman, were among four or five players the Washington Redskins brought in for a workout on Monday. Lynch has garnered tryouts from several teams since being released by Denver prior to the start of the 2018 regular season. In five career games, the 2016 first-round draft choice has thrown for 794 yards along with four touchdowns and four interceptions. With Alex Smith entrenched as the starter and veteran Colt McCoy serving as the backup, the 'Skins don't need another quarterback taking up a spot on the 53-man roster. However, Lynch would be an interesting addition to the team's practice squad.
