Pedro Severino Continues Hot Start To Season Thursday
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Pedro Severino had another nice day at the plate in Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Red Sox. Severino went 2-for-4 with a single, a solo home run (his first of the season), and two strikeouts. The 27-year-old backstop has started all but one of the O's games behind the plate and is off to a nice start with the bat, slashing .318/.348/.500. He only has one RBI to this point, but his counting stats should accumulate if he continues to hit this well. Severino is worth a look in two-catcher leagues at this time.
