4 years agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Pedro Severino continues to battle a right hip ailment, but manager Brandon Hyde indicated that while Severino remains sore, he is likely to get back into the mix either Wednesday or Thursday. The 2020 season has been a breakout campaign for Severino, who has slashed .333/.413/.568 through his first 24 games with his 168 OPS+ ranking second on the club. Ahead of him? Chance Sisco (190 OPS+), who figures to see increased playing time so long as Severino remains sidelined.
